Instructions for Melarase Cream Use - Daily Melarase AM and Melarase PM

Instructions for use with Melarase

If you have skin pigmentation on the face, a skin lightening agent such as Melarase cream may be helpful in reducing the amount of overall skin pigmentation and lightening your complexion.  Dr. Raffy Karamanoukian is a specialist in pigmentary problems and melasma and can help you identify, diagnosed, and treat melasma and other problems associated with uneven skin complexion.  One of the most common treatments available for melasma is a set of products known as Melarase.  Melarase topical creams can be used to lighten the skin tone and even out surface irregularities in complexion.  For early melasma or epidermal melasma, Melarase should be applied for a period of approximately three to four months.

Melarase AM should be applied in the morning using a one half gram versus one gram portion of cream depending on the severity of your pigmentation.  The cream should be applied on the entire face including the forehead, cheeks, under eyes, jawline, and neck areas.  Melarase cream should not be applied on to the eyes, but can be used on the surface of the eyelid skin.  Avoid contact with mucous membranes and the eyes.  Once applied, gently massage the Melarase cream into the skin until it is completely absorbed.  In the evening, apply Melarase PM on to the same areas of the face prior to sleeping.  The cream should be evenly applied and massaged into the areas of skin.  A recommendation is made to wash the skin prior to using the Melarase Creams and to use MelaPads for excessively oily skin.  To order Melarase creams, call our office at 310-998-5533 or visit www.kareskin.com.
