What can I do if my breast implant is bottoming-out? Los Angeles Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

What can I do if my breast implant is bottoming-out?

The patients who have had previous breast augmentation with a saline or silicone breast implant may have a condition known as bottoming-out of the breast implant.  This condition is characterized by a loosing of the skin and tissue on the lower part of the breast with a gradual slippage of the breast implant inferiorly and downward.  The patients with a bottoming-out of their silicone or saline breast implant should initially consult with board certified plastic surgeon and breast implant expert Dr. Raffy Karamanoukian in the Los Angeles area.  Dr. Karamanoukian serves the Orange County, Antelope Valley, Los Angeles County, and Riverside areas and can help you achieve your desired cosmetic goals with breast implant surgery.  The goal of the breast implant revision and bottoming-out repair is to tighten the lower pole of the breast in order for the breast to resume its normal contour.  This procedure is technically difficulty, but performed at an outpatient surgical procedure in our accredited operating room.

If you have questions about breast implant revision or bottoming-out surgery for breast implant that have slipped, please call our Los Angeles plastic surgery office or Beverly Hills plastic surgery facility at 310-998-5533.
