How long does it take to treat common wart with the pulsed dye laser? Los Angeles laser plastic surgery

How long does it take to treat common wart with the pulsed dye laser?

There are many different options for the treatment of warts on the body, including cryotherapy, liquid nitrogen, salicylic acid, surgery, and electrodesiccation.  The office of Dr. Raffy Karamanoukian offers an innovative laser based therapy for common warts known as the pulsed dye laser.  This innovative laser has been used effectively for most resistant types of warts on the face and body.  Within seconds, a wart can be destroyed with no surgery and no incisions.  Often, the patients may benefit from a single therapy or may need additional treatment, mostly depending on whether the wart extends into the deeper tissues.  It is very difficult to assess whether one treatment alone will completely heal a resistant wart.

If you have specific questions about wart therapy and have been concerned about recurrence or spreading of a common skin wart, the pulsed dye laser may be the option.  Please call Kare Plastic Surgery and Skin Health Clinic at 310-998-5533 and one of our surgery patient care coordinators can help schedule a consultation in the Los Angeles area.
