Goals of liposuction? Liposuction Expert Surgeon discusses tumescent liposuction techniques

What are the goals of liposuction treatment?

Liposuction is designed to recontour and remove unwanted areas of fat along the face and body.  The most common areas of facial liposuction include the chin and neck area in which Dr. Raffy Karamanoukian can recontour the jawline, neckline and chin areas to remove excess fat.  This procedure is particularly important in men who have unwanted pockets of fat and bulginess along the neckline.  On the body, Dr. Karamanoukian performs liposuction on the waistline, abdomen, upper chest, and torso.  These areas can be contoured effectively in order to remove excess fat that is genetically predetermined.  At times, the unwanted fat is resistant to normal diet and exercise and usually does not resolve with metabolic changes.  By removing the excess fat, Dr. Karamanoukian can recontour your body and help you achieve a more attractive and natural appearing body contour.  Areas of concerned on the legs and thighs include the pubic mound as well as the inner thighs, hips, calves, and ankles.  All of these areas are of specific concern for men and women who have genetically predetermined pockets of unwanted fat.  Diet and exercise are limited in terms of their scope of improvement and Dr. Karamanoukian can discuss your specific options for liposuction for these areas.  Our office is a full service cosmetic plastic surgery clinic located in Santa Monica.  Our office also has a dedicated liposuction website where you can find out more about liposuction surgery,

Dr. Karamanoukian performs plastic surgery in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills and serves the greater areas of Los Angeles.  If you have questions about liposuction surgery and the specific benefits in your case, please call our Los Angeles cosmetic surgery patient care coordinator who can facilitate scheduling an appointment for you.  Call 310-998-5533.
