How can I improve hyperpigmentation after fractional CO2 laser? - Kare Plastic Surgery

Fractional CO2 laser, as with most other lasers, has a risk of developing hyperpigmentation.  The goal of treatment is to diagnose the risk of hyperpigmentation early in the process.  Dr. Raffy Karamanoukian is an expert on hyperpigmentation and melasma and has written a book about these conditions.

Patients who have undergone fractional CO2 laser or Fraxel laser who have developed hyperpigmentation are evaluated and placed on a topical skin regimen known as Melarase.  The topical skin regimen includes Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and MelaPads.  Collectively, these topical treatments can reduce hyperpigmentation and associated skin discoloration resulting from fractional laser and fractional CO2 laser.  If you have had hyperpigmentation and skin discoloration from a laser treatment, please contact our office to schedule an appointment for consultation.

Our expert skin specialist can begin a topical skin regimen including Melarase Skin Brightening Complex.  Please call our office at 310-998-5533 to schedule your consultation in Los Angeles.
