What type of anesthesia is required for Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing? Santa Monica Plastic Surgery

Dr. Karamanoukian is surgical director of an outpatient surgical center and can perform the fractional CO2 laser under anesthesia or local anesthesia, depending on your preference.  Most patients will request local anesthesia with topical cream such as Lidomax and numbing injections.  Patients tolerate the procedure well under local anesthesia. After treatment, patients will have mild discomfort that usually subsides within one day.  Schedule a consultation for laser skin resurfacing and Fractional CO2 laser by calling (310) 998-5533.
